Mayfair Witches Trailer Features Daddario Facing Demons & Ghosts
This trailer shows the interconnection of modern-day stories with centuries-old legends. Dr. Rowan recently discovered that she is a witch. She’s trying to make peace with this and learn to live her new normal.
Also, the footage shows scenes of covens, secret societies, black magic, witches’ rituals and other dark magic. One pregnant woman is seen jumping from her window to save herself, but she is saved by magic.
Mayfair Witches will premiere on AMC+ January 5, 2023 with a special double episode premiere. For the next six weeks, new episodes will air on Thursdays. Check out the riveting trailer below.

Mayfair Witches is based upon Anne Rice’s novel trilogy, The Witching Hour (1990), Lasher (933) and Taltos (1994). Rice was also the executive producer of this series until her death in December 2013. Christopher Rice, her son, is also an executive producer of the series.
“It has been my dream since childhood to see my two most important series under one roof, so filmmakers could explore my vast and interconnected universe of vampires and witches. Rice said that her dream was now a reality and that the end result was one of the most exciting and significant deals in my long career.

The show will also feature Daddario as Harry Hamlin, TongayiChirisa as Ciprien Greve, Jack Huston playing Lasher, a powerful shape-shifting entity. Annabeth Gish plays Deirdre Mayfair. Beth Grant plays Carlotta Mayfair. Erica Gimpel is Ellie Mayfair. Jen Richards plays Jojo.
Esta Spalding, Michelle Ashford and Michelle Ashford developed the project for television. They are best known for creating Showtime’s Masters of Sex. According to the official synopsis, the series is “based on Anne Rice’s Lives of the Mayfair Witches”, which explores female power and the mortal consequences of our decisions.
“Mayfair Witches” is about an inquisitive young neurosurgeon (Alexandra Daddario), who discovers she is the unlikely heir of a family full of witches. She must deal with a sinister presence that haunts her family for generations as she struggles to accept her newfound abilities,” the synopsis continues.
