It’s Unofficial Star Wars day, also known as May 4. Because “May 4” sounds so much like “May The Force (be with You)”, it has become a joke for Star Wars fans. Every year, May 4 brings a small, enthusiastic surge of Star Wars coverage. (And we sure aren’t immun ), new teases about upcoming Star Wars projects and even new Star Wars merchandise.
We have mostly ignored the Star Wars Day product launches (aside from checking to see if Dr. Squatch has any new because we are still fascinated by the idea that Darth Maul could literally be bathing in his anger). But one caught our attention: Homesick’ This is a fascinating product for several reasons. A candle is made to smell like Tatooine . The candle is supposed to smell like Tatooine, which we know smells more like “Bergamot and Agave [and] Manak Leafs”>. Another candle smells just like the Death Star. It has a scent recipe that includes cement, tobacco, “forged Steel,” and leather. The Endor candle sounds great and is very accurate to the probable smell of Endor due to all the plant, wood, and leaf notes on the label.
This is a lot of floral notes for a tiny dude who rarely bathes, spends much time in spaceships and rarely leaves the house for too long. He also wears the same loose-fitting sack outfit since the beginning of the series. Grogu also eats as many sentient species eggs as he can stomach.
