It is hard to imagine Junko’s pain during her final 44 days. Even more disturbing was the fact that these four high school boys committed such inhumane acts. Hiroshi Minato, Nobuharu Minito, Kamisakujo, and Yasushi Watanabe were the four men involved in this horrific crime.
Junko Furuta, a Japanese Girl Murdered Brutally
Junko Furuta, a Japanese girl aged 17, was studying at Saitama Yashio Minami High School. Junko, like all students, had her dreams and aspirations. Junko was not only admired by her classmates for her positive qualities, but she also had many other great qualities. She was not a smoker or a drinker. She also avoided drugs.
She was beautiful. Hiroshi Miyano, a boy, liked her. Junko rejected her proposal and he went to Junko. Hiroshi was furious at her rejection and decided to revenge.
Junko Furuta’s Story – This is all that happened
Junko was riding her bicycle home when Junko was struck by a stranger and fell. Miyano approached Junko as though he was helping her. Junko didn’t realize what was happening and Miyano, along with three of his friends, kidnapped Junko.
Junko was taken by the boys to Adachi, Tokyo by one of the kidnapper’s parents. Junko was told by the boys that Junko ran away and that she was safe. She would stay with her friends for a time.
The boys began to torture the innocent girl. Junko was subject to pain that no one can imagine, even in the worst nightmare. Junko was tortured by the heartless boys for 44 days. During these 44 days, they kept Junko naked. She was raped more than 500 times by 100 people.
Junko Furuta is tortured by the boys
Junko was tortured by the boys in a variety of horrifying ways. They beat her like nothing. She was injected with irons and syringes into her genitals. Her body was also burned. They didn’t hesitate to cut off her breasts. The girls even made the girl eat cockroaches, and then drink urine.
Junko was tortured and assaulted by the boys who went beyond all boundaries. They even urinated upon her. They made her their punching bag and hung her from a ceiling. In cold winter, they made her sleep on the balcony. The dumbells crushed her stomach. Her pain had no end.
They beat her with iron rods and golf clubs and kept her in the fridge for hours. They made many holes in her body using needles. They even lit a cigarette lighter to burn har genitals and clitoris. One of her nipples had to be twisted by pliers. Junko couldn’t stand because of the injuries to her body. To use the bathroom, she had to crawl downhill.
Junko managed to dial an emergency number to contact the police after twenty days of torture and abduction. Junko was eventually captured by the boys, who cut off the call and took the phone before Junko could speak. She was then severely punished by having her legs burned. They put lighter fuel on her legs, and then burned them with fire. She was unable to walk after that.
Because of a blood clot in the nose, she couldn’t breathe. Internal bleeding caused her to be unable to breathe and she was unable even to digest the food, which made it difficult for her bowels. She ended up vomiting. The inhuman boys beat her even for vomiting on the carpet.
Junko Furuta – Death
Junko stopped urinating for around 30 days. Junko also suffered damage to her eardrums. Junko was unable to bear the pain any longer and begged Junko to kill her. On the 44th day of her abduction, she was finally mutilated by the torturers.
The boys beat the body with an iron barbell and did not spare any of it. They then poured lighter fluid onto her stomach, legs and face and set fire to it. The final torture lasted approximately two hours. Then, Junko died on January 4, 1989.
The most sad part about this Junko Furuta story, is that the murderers were not given the death penalty or life imprisonment. They were all younger than 18. Miyano received a sentence of twenty years, while the three other boys were just seven. The four boys could have all been released by now.
