1. Ariel
Ariel, a mermaid-like form, appears in The Little Mermaid (1989). She is seventh child of King Triton, Queen Athena of Atlantica. This underwater realm of merfolk is her home.
Ariel, a confident and adventurous Disney Princess, is well-liked. She is an independent character who wants to be part of the human race in the first film.
She married Prince Eric, whom her rescue from a shipwreck allowed her to have a daughter called Melody. “Daddy, he loves me!” This dialogue was spoken by Ariel about Prince Eric, his love interest.
2. Snow White
Snow white in the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937). She is an innocent, kind and gentle character, who is also sweet and cheerful.
Her trusting, generous and helpful nature can lead to problems for her. Other people may take advantage of her generosity, like her evil stepmother who fails to kill her after many attempts.
Snow White seemed to offer something for everyone. It was entertaining, amusing and visually stunning, with a hint of romance. At the time of its premiere, Snow White was a unique film unlike any other.
She is a princess and is awarded the title of “fairest of all”. The fairest princess of them all can talk to seven adorable dwarfs, who take care of her like a princess.
3. Mulan
Mulan, a Disney princess and popular movie star who appeared in Mulan (1998). She is known for her bravery and proves that women can be as strong as men. When she was a unhappy Chinese girl, she eloped to West to marry a British king.
Mulan emphasizes the importance of one’s personality and not one’s gender to determine one’s power. Mulan faces many obstacles and challenges during her time in the Chinese army.
She overcomes them all and succeeds where others fail.
4. Cinderella
Everybody knows her. Cinderella is another Disney Princess. She appears in the Disney movie Cinderella (1950). She was mistreated by her stepmother and her two stepsisters, and made into a scullery maid at her home.
Her cruel stepmother prohibits her from attending Prince Charming’s ball. Cinderella, supported by her Fairy Godmother, attends the ball in a beautiful silver gown and unique pair of glass shoes. However, she is forced to leave at midnight because the Fairy Godmother has broken her spell.
Despite the abuse she gets from her stepmother, sisters, she is a kind, peaceful, sweet, and hopeful person. She believes her dreams of happiness will eventually come true and that others will reciprocate her kindness.

5. Belle
She is my favorite. She’s a beautiful actress who appeared in the 1991 film Beauty and the Beast. She is resourceful, intelligent, dedicated to her family, friends, and loved by all.
Although all the Disney princesses are admirable, she is the only one to promote reading and learning.
Belle, however, breaks down and confesses her love to the Beast just in the right time to end the spell of the enchantress. The Beast then becomes a handsome prince.
6. Aurora
Princess Aurora is often known as Sleeping Beauty, Briar Rose or Sleeping Beauty. She is a Disney Princess and was first seen in the 1959 film Sleeping Beauty. Her gentle and graceful demeanour is a hallmark of her. She believes that dreams can be a catalyst for a bright future if you have the courage to pursue them.
Aurora loves to make up stories and tell them to her forest friends. Her commitments to her animal friends, fairies, kingdom, and animals are also strong. Aurora believes in the power and potential of a wish, and she is hopeful that she will find the adventure of her dreams.
Aurora is Queen Leah and King Stefan’s daughter. The evil fairy Maleficent destined her death on her baptism day.
Three fairies helped to change the curse to bring Aurora into a deep sleep.
7. Rapunzel
Tangled (2010) features her as a Disney princess with beautiful, long hair. Mother Gothel, an old vain woman who raises her in an isolated tower to harness her hair’s healing powers to keep her young and beautiful for life, keeps her unaware of her royal heritage.
Mother Gothel, an elderly vain woman, kidnaps the princess. She uses her hair to keep her young and beautiful. Mother Gothel has the healing powers of a miracle flower that the sick queen swallowed during pregnancy.
Rapunzel is an intelligent, lively, kind, playful, and adventurous late-adolescent girl. She is bold when necessary and will speak out for others or herself, regardless of the circumstances.
Tangled, a Disney movie, tells us that knowledge is a great thing. It’s as simple as noticing them.
8. Anna & Elsa
Oh my goodness! They are so adorable! These Disney princesses, who are sisters in the movie Frozen (2013), are my favorite! This sister bond is unbreakable. Elsa is a magical, larger-than life character.
Elsa has the ability to manipulate and create ice and snow. She strives to be a good queen and is grateful for her kingdom’s acceptance. She can’t help but wonder what her special talents are.
Anna is the epitome of fairytale characters: unflustered, always happy.
Anna will be fine as long as Anna has her sister. She tells her sister she is proud of the power she has and that she will not hide it.
9. Jasmine
Jasmine in Aladdin (1992). Jasmine, unlike most Disney princesses is a supporting character in her film. She plays the role of the love interest. Aladdin, a street-orphan, falls for Princess Jasmine who disguises herself as a commoner while wandering through the city.
Aladdin possesses a magical lamp and convinces everyone that he is a prince to win the princess’ love and marry her.
Her personality is not like the Disney princesses of the past. She is driven solely by her desires to see beyond the castle gates and not by any man. She is also strong and confident, refusing to marry men she does not like.
Aladdin encourages his viewers to be themselves, and not feel obliged to conform to others’ needs.
10. Pocahontas
Pocahontas is Pocahontas’ main character in Pocahontas (1995). She is an Indian princess who falls for an English settler. She is caught between her father’s desire that the settlers be exterminated and her desire to help them.
