The Controller Operator is the subject of our current information. Fans have speculated about him for years. Harbor, Valorant’s newest Agent, can control the power of the tides, and summon water to save his friends and destroy his enemies. His Agent trailer and accompanying gameplay reveal already make Harbor look like one of the most dangerous Agents in the game. Although he doesn’t possess the ability to control water, he does have access to an ancient artifact. Do you have the ability to summon rapids in your hands? Or will you be the one being swept away by the waves? These are the things Valorant players need to know about Harbor and how they work.
Valorant Harbor’s Lore
Varun Batra is also known as Harbor. He is a native Indian. He was misled by a high-ranking member of the group while he searched for an artifact in Mumbai as part of his final run for Horizon. Varum was transformed into Harbor by this relic thanks to his water-bending ability.
The alleged colleague confessed that he had stolen the relic from Realm, thereby compounding the crime. Realm pursue Harbor since then in an effort to “reclaim his abilities.” Brimstone assisted Harbor in one his meetings with Realm agents, and invited him to Valorant. In an effort to fight Realm and other spies, an Indian spy is now working for Valorant Program.
Harbor’s Abilities
Harbor’s Cove is undoubtedly one of the most polarizing abilities within Valorant. We know that it will be tweaked (or nerfed) shortly after Agent’s release. Harbor can equip a shielding water sphere that allows him to make throws or underhand throws with it. A water shield that can block bullets will be created once the water ball hits the ground.
It’s a similar weapon to Viper’s Poison Orb. However, instead of having a smoke at a particular location, the shield can protect you from enemy attacks. Bullets can pass through the bullet shield again normally once they have reached a certain health level. This ability cannot block projectiles such as Raze’s grenades and Viper’s Snake Bite so it isn’t completely broken.
Harbor can outfit a water wall and propel it along Earth’s surface during High Wave. If they have the ability, one can direct the fluid along the earth’s path. You can also stop the water from flowing earlier if necessary. High Tide causes Gamers to experience slowing.
Harbor has more flexibility when it comes to building up power. He can bend and bend High Tide as he pleases. The Rising Tide lasts 15 seconds. This is quite a long time compared to the length of each Valorant match. You cannot turn the “walls” on or off. They also have a 40 second timeout that starts when you press E.
Harbor can use water waves to move forward and over walls due to Cascade. This skill delays the opponent who are impacted by it, which allows you to use it again to stop the surge.
Harbor can make use of Cascade, an area-denial skill that is similar to High Wave. This skill is similar to a floating wall, which slows foes and blocks their view. Cascade, out of all the skills Harbor has to offer, is the only one that you can use in defense and attack situations. Cascade can be used to block the enemy’s view from your side or make it a moving cover. This will allow your team to attack while minimizing sightlines.
Cascade can’t block bullets so be aware of being shot down behind it. Although the slow duration of Cascade isn’t quite as long as High Tide’s, it will still be sufficient if you are only trying to kill one enemy Agent.
Reckoning is Harbor’s greatest skill. It allows him to make full use of the artifacts’ total strength. Harbor’s ability to create a geyser pool on the floor allows him to attack any nearby enemies with further geyser attacks. If they are discovered, they will be unconscious.
Harbor’s Retribution is a skill that identifies enemies and attacks them. It works less well than Breach’s Rolling Storm. If used with a skilled Originator and Duelist, this skill should prove to be deadly. It is important to work together in order to achieve ults like these, and gaming with strangers will prevent you from doing that.
Valorant Harbor’s Public Release Date
Harbor will be available starting October 18th when Episode 5: Act 3 drops. Riot Games wanted a Controller that could be used to block the view of the battlefield in creative ways. They created Harbor.
